Conexant speaker problem

My modem is making too much noise i've turned of the modem speakers but
there's still a big noise
if someone can help me please reply

Did you turn it down in your DUN connection ?

Try adding M0   that's a zero to your
modem initialization string. A modem initialization string looks something like
this:  AT&C1&D2^M
