OS - Windows 98 SE
Having moved my computer (not sure if this has caused
problem?) in Control Panel> System> Device Manager - the
entries under Sound, Video & Game Controllers i.e.
Hollywood Real Magic Plus , Soundblaster AudioPCI, Wave
Device for Voice modem  all have yellow triangle black
exclamation mark.
When clicking on each it says "device not working because
Windows cant find mmdevldr.vxd that loads the drivers for
device [code 8). To fix problem click Reinstall Device to
reinstall device. " Cant see button for this
only "Reinstall Driver". Have tried reinstalling driver
and removing the device and letting Windows detect the
hardware - Windows seems to let me go through all the
stages OK - but when finally reboot - back to exactly same
state!! Tried searching for the vxd file on all Hard
Drivers, original W98 CDROm (incl inside CAB files)and
within set-up disks for original devices but cannot find -
Any Help Please
