I have spent the entire day trying to defrag my computer.
It will get to betwen 50 and 70 % finished, then it
freezes and says the it has stopped responding. "to
continue press any key" or "ctrl, alt, delete to shut down
the computer. When I press any key, the screen goes
totally black, the "working light" goes out and NOTHING AT
ALL HAPPENS! What is going on? I have never had this
problem until today. The same thing happens when I try to
do a thorough scan disk
