When I try to play a cd I get this message.

Windows media player encounted an error when reading the
cd-rom drive in digital mode. Click Ok to switch to analog
mode. Click cancel to retry playing in digital mode.

Neither work.

I able to read the drive in win explorer.
I'm able to copy a cd with the software that came with the
drive.

Thanks for your help

Where was this answered?  I checked through the newsgroup
and found nothing to indicate a response elsewhere.  Can
you give us a hint as to where you (or someone else)
responded to this?

Thank you!
