no sound after windows 98 reload

I had to reload windows 98 and since then there is no
sound on my computer and CD Rom drives.....help if you
can.

Same with me.  You need to figure out what sound card you
have.  You may have a disk or CD if you bought your sound
card separate.  I ended up figuring out mine by calling
the manufacter (I have an IBM Aptiva).  Figure out what
sound card you have and try www.driversguide.com where you
can get a driver for your sound card.
