When i try to play music and video files in media player i
receive this message:
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there
is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a
sound device installed on your computer, it may be in use
by another program, or it may not be functioning properly."

I have tried other multimedia programs and the same thing
happens...the video plays, but the sound doesn't.

I have recently gotten my comp. reformatted due to a virus
