Hi, whats the difference between .mpg and .mpeg?  How do I
know which converter to use to convert .avi's to mpeg?
that has the extension .mpeg and not .mpg?
I have a site for my daughters and it doesn't
support .mpg, but it does support .mpeg format.  Can
anyone explain this to me please?
Thanks

Technically there is no difference. .MPG is from the old days of 8.3
filenames. Where Mac's for example didn't have that restriction and could
use .MPEG. Same for .JPG vs .JPEG

It it's causing a problem you can simply rename it from .MPEG to .MPG
