Man! This is one sluggish NG. Or perhaps the server is down on this
particular one?

Nope. Obviously, the server isn't down.

You seem to be using your ISP's server.
Try the MS server msnews.microsoft.com or this url:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.win98.multimedia

Hi Alan. I am using OE and this newsgroup is one of many to which I
"subscribe". I was more or less commenting on the dearth of posts submitted,
and the lack of replies to my reply. Unlike W98gen.discussion, or
Inetexplorer.ie6.browser, which gets "tons" of posts, this one is a
veritable snail, with what seems to be few users, and probably a whole lot
of them use the MS-CDO.  ;-)

Just for the record, I had accessed this NG by means of the MS-interface
afterwards just to see if *it* was working at the time. It was up and
running. ;-)
