Windows Forum / Windows 98 / Multimedia / June 2004I can't hear any sounds
I used to be able to play sound but today I can't. I think I am missing a piece of the system which gives me sounds and volume and I may have uninstalled something by accident. For example, I have no loudspeaker icon showing and in the audio tab of 'multimedia properties', the buttons for 'playback' and 'recording' can't be activated. Has anyone got a piece or a patch or advice on how to restore my sound facility. Running Windows 98 RB Did you read my suggestions in the thread you added your "let me know..." question in?
