The audio output on my IBM is suddenly only on one
external speaker (and both work OK). Is stereo output
windows controlled?

Thanks

Double click on the yellow speaker in the systray.  Each input and the
output has a balance control at the top.

I've seen one of the mutes turn on for no reason, and another person
reported that here too iirc.  So I suppose the balance could get
messed up for "no reason".
