Will having a logo'd Driver make a difference. My PC
System Diagnosis informs me that the EMU10K1.vxd is not
digitally signed, (not tested) by Microsoft Windows
Quality Hardware Labs, (WHQL). It tests as OK in my PC &
works well. Whats the deal?. Does it make a difference?
(Bazza).
Signed drivers are preferred but not necessary. The WHQL certification
means that the manufacturer has tested the drivers to specific Microsoft
guidelines and certification standards. This level of testing is not
necessarily better than the level the manufacturer uses.
