Hi

I recently had some trouble with my network and in the
course of fixing it, removed the "Dial-up Adapter" which
was present in the Network Properties screen (right-
click "Network Neighbourhood"), and the associated
protocol of "TCP/IP for Dial-up Adapter" was also removed.

I now have the network sorted out, but can't use the modem
as it is not present in the Network Properties screen and
I therefore can't set any properties for it or the TCP/IP
connnection. If I dial at the minute I just get a message
saying that there is no dial tone.

How do I add a generic dial-up adapter? The "Add" button
gives you the option to add any number of manufacturer-
specific adapters but my modem is in "System Properties"
as a Conexant which isn't in the list. Before I started
messing around it was listed as a "Dial-up Adapter".

If anyone can give me a hand with this I will be very very
grateful as my modem is currently useless! Thanks in
advance.
