I have a desktop Win 98SE sharing a printer with my laptop WinXP through a
crossover cable which has been working all right until to day when I cannot
share anymore
I checked the help file and was\ asked to make sure that the Print to a port
was correct and should be similar to \\sharename\printername
I found the setting was for LPT1 and have attempted to change it to the
suggested format without success. Everyone I have tried states that the
shared printers cannot use the port you have selected
The shared name for the printers is "Printer" and the printer is an Epson
Stylus Color 880.
What is the correct entry?
