I have a little home network, connected through a gateway.  There are 3 PC -
1 XP, 1 W2K and 1 Win98SE.
The W2K PC is having no trouble at printing from the shared printer on the
XP machine but the W98 machine does not see the printer at all.
Both machines have access to the XP machine through the firewall.
The printer is shared on the XP machine.
I have the right drivers for the printer although I haven't been able to get
as far as installing the drivers on the W98 machine.
I have additional W98 drivers enabled in the printer setup on the XP machine
but they are greyed out and I cannot amend them (???).
Any ideas anyone

Make sure that the printer's share name isn't longer than 12
characters.  If it is, W98 won't be able to see it.

You're welcome, Bassett.  I found the solution in a previous answer in
the news group, and I'm glad that it worked for you.
