Hi

I have a business Windows XP Prof PC hooked up to corporate network/internet
via installed router.  PCs IP details are;

IP address; 10.38.103.243
Subnet; 255.254.0.0

On the business PC I have a printer that I want to share with my home PC
(Win 98).  This PC is also connected to same router to allow internet access.
But the W98 PC is not able to communicate with XP business PC (try pinging
and no replies) -  assume becuase IP address/subnet are not (currently all
0's for IP and subnet).

I want to give the W98 PC an IP/Subnet to allow communication with XP PC but
have no idea about what IP addy to use - I think it's subnetting and this
baffles me!!

Could anyone suggest best IP/Subnet mask to use on w98 PC, and also will
this allow connection to PC for printer share etc?

Thanks in advance!!

This is an issue that you must take up with your corporations network
adminisrator/s.
