The problem has nothing to do with the network card or router.
When installing a new network adapter, the necessary files are often
already installed. Tell it to look in C:\Windows. If it isn't there,
tell it to look in C:\Windows\System.
If neither of those works, search the hard disk for files named
"win98*.cab". If those files exist, tell it to look in the folder
that contains the files.

No Thank you for your assisstance. I tried to re-route to C:\Windows\System
and the pop-up downloaded proceeded to go a little further. It then stopped a
quarter of the way and asked for an "arp.exe" file. Based on what you told me
it was then asking for the file from C:\Windows, so I re-routed again. It
proceeded to go a little further and then stopped to another file "fxvcd.
vxd". I did the same thing and re-routed the path to download said file.
Connect to the Internet now. Thanks again.
