mapped drive problem

I have a mapped drive on a 98 machine and the computer will lose connection
with the mapped drive so i will reboot the computer and it will work again.
This happens multiple times a day. Any ideas anyone

what is the other pc running?  2000 and xp have default timeout
autodisconnect of 15min after no activity.
