Win98 DHCP client configured for automatic DNS assignment

Greetings.
A quick one. To configure a Win98 DHCP client for automatic assignment
of DNS servers, which one of the followings should be done with the
"DNS Configuration" tab of the "TCP/IP Properties" for the protocol
stack over the relevant LAN interface?
(1) Disable DNS, or
(2) Enable DNS and either leave the DNS server address field blank or
enter a dummy address there, say 0.0.0.0
