I have Win98SE.  If I open up a DOS window, and ping to anything, I get
nothing but timeouts.  In Windows, browsing works.  I have DSL.  I also have
Tiny Personal Firewall.  Maybe it's configured wrong, but I do not know what
to change to make it work.  Any ideas?

If you're pinging inside your network, you probably have a misconfigured
firewall.  If you're pinging outside your network (like MSN.COM.
MICROSOFT.COM and so on) you probably won't get pinging to work as most
major Web sites block pings.
