I have a notebook with win98 connected to a desktop with winxp. I had
the microsoft network working just fine. Then all of a sudden I can't
browse the network anymore from win98. Both are connected to a belkin
dsl router. Internet is working ok but win98 network not working.
CDrom not working on win98. Only internet and floppy. I have client
for microsoft net and file sharing on win98. How can I get the
microsoft network to work again?

It seems to be a permission problem.
If u r not using a domain, try to log in into Windows 98 locally with a user
and password that exists in the WIndows XP PC.
