I was trying to make a new identity to use outlook
express, seperate from my boyfriend's. I either read the
help instructions wrong or they are incomplete, but I
didn't click on switch identities before I made a new one.
Now my boyfriend's identity is gone. Is there a way to
get it back or does he have to start over?

What do you see when you click File/Identities/Manage Identities? Is the
earlier identity shown?
