Can anyone help with this procedure. I want to make
my "hotmail contacts list" mirror my "wab
list".
I thought the following worked but it doesn't. When I
click "tools"
in the wab, then "synchronize", the procedure deletes all
entries in my home computer that are not already on the
hotmail site.
Thank you,

michael, thanks for trying but none of the 3 fixes apply
to my problem. I just want to export (copy) my wab to my
hotmail oab account. Is this function supported or did I
have to manually enter each address online w/hotmail.
Thanks again....

With your Hotmail account already running in OE, Synchronize Now should
present you with a choice of data to use in both Address Book and Hotmail
Contacts, if conflicting data is found. If an Address Book contact is
deleted, you made a mistake. This and other irregularities is why it's best
to use Synchronize Now with an empty Address Book.
Change made to Address Book will also be made to Hotmail Contacts and vice
versa.
That being said, New Hotmail now allows you to import a CSV file of Address
Book. See Tools menu in left-hand pane of Hotmail Contacts.
You will first need to export Address Book to your hard-drive as a TXT (CSV)
file:
Address Book File>Export>Other address book>...
