Outlook express block of my attachments on mail

I have just downloaded the outlook express version 6.0 and
it has placed a block on all of my attachements and will
not let me open them.  I do not wish this to happen.  I
have a virus protection and do not want something else to
tell me I cannot open my attachments. Help

In OE go to Tools | Options | Security and uncheck "Do not allow
attachments...".

The answer is; go to 'Tools' on the top of the OE window,
from there go to options. Click security, and then
under 'virus protection' it should have a check boa saying
to block all atachments that may be a virus

Joseph,

Posted to newsgroup and emailed directly to the poster of the message that this is a reply to.

See if this helps.

Load up Outlook Express and click on Tools/Options/Security and see if you've got a tick against "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus."

If you have then uncheck this box and you should get access to all attachments.
