Hi all,

Apologies for this off-topic post, MSN Messenger newsgroups aren't available
on my news server currently.

My question is regarding Contacts - can I enter a name for each contact as
opposed to having their email address displayed as their name? Any help
would be great.

Thanks,
Kingy75

Use the MS Newsserver instead:

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.msn.messenger

In fact, if you had taken the time to look, you would have found 4 MSN
newsgroups right here on news.individual.net, in the microsoft.public.msn.*
sub-grouping.  However, they don't have much traffic.  Who cares about MSN.
Its just my ISP because Qwest DSL says so.  Don't use MSN Messenger, don't
use the Premium software I get with my account, don't use Windows Messenger,
don't use MSN Chat, don't get a bill from MSN.  As long as MSN keeps it that
way, I will be perfectly happy.  Though I did take a 300kbps download hit
when I went from Cable to DSL, but I got a 600k upgrade in uploads when I
went from cable to DSL.  Overall, as long as MSN stays out of my space, I am
content.
