My ISP, Verizon DSL provides a variety of binary
newsgroups. In at least one, most of the message headers
have yEnc, and or rar in them. By its self, OE6 does not
have the capability to view these files. I would like to
open, download, and view these files. If anyone knows what
I need, and how to view the yEnc and or rar formated files
w/ OE6 PLEASE reply.

It's a proxy to enable automatic decoding.  The detailed instructions are
found at this site:

See:
Decoding Internet Attachments - A Tutorial
http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/decode.htm

The yEnc section will discuss some options on that.

RAR is an compressed archive similar to ZIP files.  The Compression and Message Size
limits section discusses where you can get a program to handle those.

Looks like a great resource, look forward to gleaning
