How do I retrieve data from Inbox.dbx file?  Looks like
the file is corrupted.  Is there any other way to open
this file?  Or fix it?

If the DBX file is corrupt, you can download DBXtract ($5) program to
extract the contents as EML files which can be read by double clicking on
the file.  A faster option would be to obtain DBXpress ($24.95) but for a
one time shot, DBXtract will work well, but is slower.   Both are available
from www.oehelp.com
