sharing dbx files ?

I dual boot win98se and XP Pro.
In 98se I use IE5.5 and OE.
In XP I use IE6 and OE.

I know you can move the target folder for the DBX files on both systems and
have done this.

My question is can they both share the same folder, iow can the DBX files be
common to both systems ?

You should be able to share them.

I would recommend updating Win98 SE to IE/OE6.

The files will need to be in a Win32 file system, not NTFS.

If you are using the OE for reading newsgroups, the registry clone is important.  If the
registry settings don't match, OE gets confused on the news messages when you switch OS.
Mail is less touchy.
