No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

My Outlook Express mail is cutting out after a short time. I will start to
receive mail then I get the error message noted above. I've shut down my
firewall, Norton Anti-virus (Works 2003), checked by settings, and contatcted
my ISP. All without success. Next suggestion is to uninstall then reinstall
Outlook Express. Anyone have success in solving this problem?

Before you waste all that time uninstalling and reinstalling IE and OE, I'd
suggest you completely remove Norton from the equation by uninstalling it.
Then see if the problem magically goes away.  Uninstalling Norton can be a
real PITA if you don't know the name of the "secret" uninstallers:

Removing Norton AntiVirus 2003 or earlier by using the Rnav2003.exe removal
utility when Add/Remove programs fails:
