I suspected as much. But if that data is truly important, you should unplug
that machine ASAP -- to finish reading this message, nothing more. Then
either take the HDD to an expert or look into using another machine to
extract deleted data from this drive. My own favorite data recovery tools
for the Home/Home Office level are from R-Tools Technology.
