Hi.
Added an address to my Blocked Sender List but now need to remove it.
Windows 98.
If I highlight it and Remove, when I open the list again it is still there
and I cannot remove it.
Anyone know why this might be happening?
TIA
Barney.

That usually means the registry section for Blocked Senders is corrupted.
You may need to delete the existing key from the registry and then rebuild
your list. The location to look is here:
To delete the key from the registry, close OE and click Start|Run and type
regedit. In Regedit, navigate to this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{GUID}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook
Express\5.0\Block Senders
where {GUID} is the Global Unique IDentifier for your Identity. Under the
Block Senders key, you will see a key for Mail and another for News. Delete
the one that is not working, or delete the entire Block Senders key if the
problem occurs in both mail and news. OE will create a new key when you
reopen it.

After making any changes to the Message Rules or Blocked Sender list,
you must use the OK button to close the main dialog that shows the list
of message rules or blocked senders. If you use the Cancel button or
the X to close that dialog, the changes you just made are thrown away.
