Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

I am going to start getting quite a few large attachments and if I don't do
something, my hard drive is going to fill up quickly.

So what I want to do is to create a new folder on another drive where there
is lots of room, and then I will have the mail rules send these emails
(always from one sender) there.

Simple enough.... only one thing..... I can't figure out how to create the
new folder on the 2nd drive.

If it's ok for you to store all of your mail in this one location the easiest
thing to do is to redirect your email store folder to this desired location.
Tools-Options-Maintenance-Store Folder....

You have to move the entire store folder and not just create a new one on
the second drive.

First backup your message store.  Then create the directory on the new drive
where you want the messages to be stored (e.g. d:\oestore).  Then go to
Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store Folder and set the new directory for
the message store.

Make sure you create the new directory first, or else OE will just destroy
the old message store.

Adding to Steve's advice:
The new drive must be on the computer.
You can't use a drive on a network.

Its also unwise to use a removable drive or jump drive.

Thanks everyone.  To be sure I understand, that means that all stored
messages (in, out, etc., etc.) have to be on the same drive?  I can't have
one folder, on a different drive?

Correct.

You should look at OEX.

This program will remove attachments.

That's correct.  All the messages are in one directory under the particular
identity.  You can change the directory for each Identity however.
