Microsoft works like to own too much territory, and whenever it's
supposted to spell ck, works calls up a window about looking for the
non extant program. I put ABC Spell and a couple others in OE, but
they don't work right. I once had a nice setup but after a crash,
things changed, and this has been several yrs, since I had a spell
cker, and for me, who can't spell well, it's a real bummier, help?

OE does not come with a spelling checker. It uses the spelling checker from
any Office program that has one. Do you have such a program?
If not you could try one of these:
