can't open mail and some other links

I am new to gmail, about 2 weeks. All of a sudden a few days ago I am
not able to open any of my inbox or other emails, certain links on the
page I can't open either.
Following another help page I was instructed to update the 'Language'
in 'Tools' > 'Internet Options' > 'Languages'; however this did not
work.
I am able to open my gmail and the other links via my PDA, I can also
access my hotmail fine.
Can anyone help?

This is an Outlook Express-specific newsgroup for Windows 98 users. Try
posting to this IE6-specific newsgroup instead:
