Hi,

I  am sure that someone out thare will be able to help me.

Every day I get one or two e-mails sent to me with strange charaters as the
file names such as thick vertical lines , upside down and back to front
letters. ( is that spam  ?)
( Somewhere my e-mail address got picked up )

If you get your cursor on these "file names" then Outlook Express bombs out
and you have to restart again.  So you can't even delete or block them.

Any help in how to avoid getting this and what can be done.

Thanks for any help.

Is this appearing in the To, From or Subject line?  If so, create a rule for
mail that if the lines does *not* contain a, e, i o, or u, then mark it read
and move it to the Deleted Items.

Or put a button on your Toolbar to turn the Preview pane on/off, and with
the Preview Pane disabled, you should be able to highlight the message in
the message list and select Delete.
