When checking my email off line, I open O.E. and I’m asked if I want to work
off line. I confirm yes and the when O.E. starts to open an error message
appears (error message - ox8oocccod), basic message states that it could not
locate the host server.
It appears that the program is trying to connect to I.P.S. even though I’ve
confirmed that I do not want to connect. Do I need to correct some settings
in I.E. or O.E., in order to rid the error message?
Thank you for your time and responses.
Chuck
Do you have an antivirus/antispam program installed set to scan incomng
email? They are the most common causes of such problems. Try uninstalling
them or disabling their email scanning and see if the problem goes away.
