Even though i set the size to 12 in mnu/Tools/Options/Compose
my signature seems to be locked in at 10 and sets the size for any msg out
to NGs or msgs
How do i unlock this 10 plague?

Try resettting the option under Tools/Option/Read  and then click the Fonts
button and set the desired font and size there.  You may be confusing "what
you see" on your computer although your newsgroup posting was sent in Plain
Text with no font or size specified since that is only possible if you use
HTML formatting.  Also make sure that your signature is not composed using
HTML and that it does not specify a font or font size unless you wish it to
over ride a setting when you are composing HTML formatted messages.

I did have email set to HTML as i used a background and wanted Bold ability.
Registry:
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Identities\{1A175D00-1B1A-11DB-A43C-CE62BA7F6948}\Softwa
re\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0\Mail
is set to Arial 12 ;   same for News.
I removed all signatures.
The Options/Read is set to Medium, larger gives a 14 bold.
i'll reboot

This all happens in New Msg from OE Inbox.   locked in at 10 font in size.
However, when i start a New Msg from the toolbar of IE 5.5, the font is 12

a good reminder for all
i forgot that stationery was an HTML file

showed
