Setting OE6 as default mail client

Thread rating: |
Rubyjack - 09 Mar 2007 05:50 GMT I'm having trouble with setting OE6 as my default mail client. It is set up fine in IE6, but not OE6. Whenever I go to Tools>Options>General Tab and press "Make Default" it appears to do so, but when I reopen the Tools menu there is the "Make Default" button again.
Everything seems to be working fine except when I try to forward a NG message. I then get kicked to a box that says it will use MS Outlook to handle the message.
Frustrated, Dan Hacker

But alas-and-alack I still can't forward NG messages without MS Outlook rearing its ugly head.
Could there be a way to add OE to the dialog box, perhaps?
Still frustrated, Dan Hacker
