I have a strange problem?  I can Send and Receive email in my secondary
identity of OE 6, but in my Main Identity - I can only Receive email, can
not Send.  This causes major problems for me.  When I try to Send email in
the Main Identity, I get the following error message?

"The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'gtohio9073', Server:
'mailhost.att.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 7362, Secure(SSL): No, Socket
Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E"

I do not know what this means?

I am thinking about de-install and re-install OE - should I do that?

I use two email addresses.  The first is to use in outside online purposes
and the second is just for friends and personal purposes.  The first email
address is good for catching Spam.

Thanks for the help.

Troubleshooting error messages that you receive when you are using OL and OE
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/813514

Disable email scanning by your anti-virus application.  It provides no
additional protection and even Symantec says it's not necessary:

<QP>
Disabling Email Scanning does not leave you unprotected against viruses that
are distributed as email attachments. Norton AntiVirus Auto-Protect scans
incoming files as they are saved to your hard drive, including email and
email attachments. Email Scanning is just another layer on top of this. To
make sure that Auto-Protect is providing the maximum protection, keep
Auto-Protect enabled and run LiveUpdate regularly to ensure that you have
the most recent virus definitions.

Port 7362 would not be correct.

Compare the settings between the two identities.  In particular on the
Advanced tab of Tools, Accounts, Mail, Properties.
