Hi Bill,

WinTop is a tool that can be used to look at the processes
running with the amount of CPU usage for each one.

Download MS- Kernel toys. Click on W95krnltoys.exe file to unzip.
Then click on Wintop.exe. WinTop is safe to use with all versions of
Win98. The Win95 warning refers to some of the other toys.

Every 2 seconds, WinTop recomputes information about the processes running
in the system.  As WinTop starts, the numbers may be a bit screwy; wait a
few
seconds for the numbers to settle down.

Let Wintop run, you should be able to see what's causing
the disk to be accessed by looking at CPU usage. With
the system at rest, this should show what program file is
the cause. And its path. Post the program file name here
and we will see if we can figure it out.
