I have a piece of junk AMD-K6 301mhz processor that I
bought used. spent $400 bucks to upgrade it.It originally
came with WIN98.when I took it in I put in 256MB RAM,it
already had 4GB total hard disk,So I added a 2nd hard drive
of 20GB,added ATI graphics,an ethernet card for my DSL.
I have SBC service which has been great. The modem I got
is the 2wire home portal(which has a built in firewall).I
Have Norton Systemworks 2002 for my antivirus which I keep
up to date religiously. I also have Zone Alarm installed.
Since I spent alot to upgrade my pc.Best buy erased any-
thing previously that was on the system and upgraded me to
WIN98SE. which I have no disk for. In the beginning my
system said that I had 18.6GB on drive "C" and the other
4-6GB went to drive "D" Now when I print my system info
it say's I have 3.96GB on one drive and 4.02GB on the
other. On the systen info it say's I have almost 19GB free
space. But my memory is 74% utilized,I don't have that many
programs loaded,clean the cache,delete tmp.internet files
daily.I can't use certain utilities because it say's that
drive "C" is not configured correctly? I've been hit with
the Swen A virus 3 times.I don't know how it's getting
through? My pc is so slow-I'm tired of dealing with it.If
anyone could help me get my 20GB back I sure would
appreciate it.If It's too complicated I can always through
itin the trash.God Bless, TJ.M

You have an illegal system and perhaps the best thing to do since you
don't have an SE disk is to back up everything you need, format the
drive and reinstall your original W98. Do you have anything (like your
DSL modem) that is W98SE dependent and would foil this plan? It will
take a while but it is not terribly hard to do:
