I have recently installed extra memory ( 1 GIG )
but now the Media applications take ages to load.
e.g. ( MOV, AVI, MPEG, ASF, etc ).
The mouse pointer is very slow moving whilst the
applications are loading.
Once one media file is opened you can open as many other
media files as you like and they all load fast.
But you are back to sqaure one if you close the final one
down.
Turning down the hardware acceleration cures the problem,
but you lose picture resoloution.
Do I need to upgrade my graphics card now !!!
My system is as follows:
OS Version Windows 98 (DOS 7.10)
Windows Version 3.95.2222 (USER.EXE version 4.10.2222)
Windows Installation Type Standard PC

Swap File Usage 0%

Hi Bob

Perhaps " Swap File Usage 0% " is what troubles you,
The Swap file althoug big, perhaps it isnt being used.
Check it with System Monitor ,
