Double clicking problem - perhaps your double click speed got adjusted
to where you can't click fast enough to cause a double click.
In Control Panel, open Mouse. Options and tabs will vary, depending on
your mouse software. Look for adjustment of the double click speed and
set it as slow as possible.
If you now have trouble getting to anything due to not being able to
double click, you can single right click and then choose open from the
menu (same as double click).

Denise, does the problem still exist after a reboot?
You did not mention double-click problems in your previous post, that I recall.
Where is "everywhere"? Do you mean that you cannot double-click on the desktop, or in windows explorer or My computer, on individual files?
As Delores states, perhaps your double-click is set too fast in the Mouse control panel....have you checked and adjusted that?

Hi, Delores' suggestion worked for my double click problem.
I have more new problems now that I will post in another
post. Thanks for your help.

button which says web style, that way you only have to
click once, never twice. Also, if you click on a program
on the task bar, never click twice, always only once.
