Can't set my color to 256. Keeps going back to 16. Can anyone help? Try confirming that you have the correct display driver installed. (Assuming Win98) Click on <Start><Settings><Control Panel><Display><Settings><Advanced><Adapter> If you don't see the graphics board click on <Change> and correct it.
