About 2 days ago I "successfully" upgraded my Win98 SP1 to
Win98 SE.
As of a day ago, I started getting the following message
(s) on startup:
c:\windows\system\DDEML.DLL was replaced by an older
version by a program recently run. The file is currently
in use and cannot be auto-fixed. Reboot Windows so the
auto-fix will run ( something like that ).
I also have a similar message for files:
mcicela.drv and winaspi.dll
First of all....
1) what is ddeml.dll?
what is mcicela.drv?
what is winaspi.dll?
2) what is there purpose?
3) how do I resolve these issues?
** note: I recently was notified by Symantec of a
malicious virus and thus downloaded a patch for NAV 2003.
-or-
are these significant enough to ignore and continue
getting?
Thanks,
Scott.
