Running Windows 98.  Trying to delete the temporary
internet files by: clicking on Tools-Internet Options-
Delete Files-OK. I do the same thing again but the second
time check the box to delete all offline content. I then
click on Delete Cookies, nothing happens. Would highly
appreciate any assistance. I thank you in advance. Nat

Something may be corrupt in there. Try a manual delete (then follow it up
with the method you described already, just to set the index pointers back
right). For step-by-step directions, see Step 4 (Method B) of the Computer
Health article in my signature file.
