Can anyone advise the best method for clearing space in
Drive E(System Save)?  I only have 224MB left and I think
it may be causing some problems. I tried to compress it
but am being alerted 'Drive E cannot be compressed because
it is a FAT32 drive.

Thanks,

Kim

That's good.  You do not EVER want to compress a drive!

The drive space is:  1.74GB
I have no idea what may be saved in it.

Thanks,

SOme vendors (e.g. Compaq) used to/stilldo ? create such a partition when
they created the system disk.

Don't remember the detail so you might be best served by contacting the
vendor to find out what is in that partition.
