I'm running 98se. Task Scheduler shows up in my system tray every time I boot
up, how do I make it vanish? Could someone give me the heads-up PLEEZE!

Double-click the Task Scheduler icon, and in the resulting window,select
Advanced, Stop Using Task Scheduler. Close the Scheduled Tasks window, and
this utility will no longer run at startup.

THaNk U ThAnK U THaNk U!!  Something so simple....  but yet I couldn't figure
it out. Probably tried everything BUT that.  Appreciate it!!

If Task Scheduler shows back up after a reboot, you have to disable the
Microsoft Windows Critical Update Notification by uninstalling it from the
control panel, add/remove screen.
