Need to trun off a service

Hi

I am running win98se  and I need to turn  a service from automatic to manual
start...and I can not remember the run command for it...has been a while
since I used 98  got to use to XP..

Do anyone remember it

Win98 has no XP-type Services.
You may be able to get Task Manager
to do what you want.

There are no services that can be turned on and off, in Win9x.  Exactly what are you
trying to turn off, and why?
