at every boot up i get this:
rem - By Windows 98 Network - C:WINDOWSnet start
C:Program FilesWinternalsNTFS for Windows 98ntfschk.exe /q *
C:Program FilesWinternalsNTFS for Windows 98ntfschk.exe /q *

i tried the program then deleted it a couple of weeks ago so why is
this happening?

Check the autoexec.bat and config.sys and see if it is referenced in one of
those files.  If so, remove it.

These are DOS error messages from the DOS
boot utilities AUTOEXEC.BAT and/or CONFIG.SYS.

Standard Win98 does not require either.  Just rename
both AUTOEXEC.BAK and CONFIG.BAK and reboot.
It may go faster.
