I just went from dial-up to DSL and with dial-up I used System Monitor
Dial-Up Adapter, Bytes Received/Second. What do I use for DSL?
Thanks Johnny

Right click on the two little green icons in the lower right hand tool bar
and then click status.

If your DSL setup is like mine, there are no "little green icons"
anywhere to be seen. I use Outpost for my firewall. It provides download
and upload speeds when the interface is opened. I too have tried using
System Monitor but had no luck.

Do you have an icon for the modem in the toolbar?

For a dialup modem, yes there is an icon. Your DSL is hooked up to a NIC
card, which is a different animal. However, after posting a reply I
found an icon for a NIC/LAN connection linked on the alt.windows98
newsgroup.

I just installed it and it works. The little screens blink for up and
down direction and hovering the pointer over it gives the Rx and Tx
segments (what ever that is). It's a VB6 program and uses over 9meg of
memory while running. But it's cute :).
